A Group of village volunteers has developed a village art trail and produced 8 art works around the village and a sculpture & mosaic on the Sustrans Water Rail Way. These have a direct relationship to the environment of the local community.
In addition, there is also a children’s trail of cast animals placed around Chapel Park. A trail leaflet for chapel park is downloadable from our website.
These art works will add interest and help to promote Washingborough’s growing art & cultural identity and provide visitors with enhanced experiences of our unique environment.
The trail is part of Arts NK Spires & Steeples Trail, a way of linking the participating villages to a broader tourism trail taking in villages from Lincoln to Sleaford.
